therapy shouldn’t feel like a doctor’s appointment
Therapy is a deeply personal experience, and I believe it’s important for me to be just as genuine and open in our sessions as I am asking you to be. I don’t put on some professional persona. You’ll always get the real me, silliness, nerdiness, weird metaphors and all. And I want to get to know the real you. I will always use the name, pronouns, and labels that you prefer.
I have training in a variety of scientifically proven therapy techniques so that whatever problem you need my help with, we can find the right tool for the job. I also believe in helping you develop your own toolbox, so that you’ve got what you need in your life outside of therapy, whatever the situation may be.
With over fifteen years of experience, I'm not easily shocked or intimidated.
I've heard it all. I’ve got you.
